OFF THE BUS AND ONTO THE NEXT FERRY

Iona Boat Ride

Softly glide we along, Softly chant we our song,
For a king who to resting is come;
Oh, beloved and best, Thou art fairing out west,
To the dear isle Iona, thy home.

At the end of Mull, we boarded another ferry – this one for the ten minute boatride to Iona.

(So, we had walked a rainy, half mile to the ferry dock, took a rainy 45 minute ferry ride to Mull, rode a bus a rainy hour across Mull, and now were on a ten minute ferry to finally reach Iona.)

As we glided into shore, we saw several shore birds – gannets, oystercatchers and a European shag.

Notice anything else about these pictures.  🙂
