TWELVE THINGS TO DO ON OAHU – PART 2

#7 – Visit Magic Island.

In the Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island is a small peninsula that’s a popular local hangout. You can go swimming, watch surfers or sit and gaze at the beautiful sunset. This is also a popular place for weddings EVERY day of the week.

#8 – Eat at Orange Grove.

Hidden in the Ala Moana Shopping Center, Orange Grove is a great place to get a refreshing snack. Grab your bowl, pick your favorite frozen yogurt flavors and finish with adding toppings from the topping bar.

#9 – Go to Dole Plantation.

Ride the Pineapple Express through endless fields of pineapples and learn the process of growing pineapples. You can’t beat the taste of freshly picked, sweet, juicy Hawaiian pineapple.

Be sure to welk through the beautiful Plantation Garden to see a large colleciton of unique tropical plants. You can also wander through the world’s largest maze here.

#10 – Eat at The Cookie Corner.

The Cookie Corner is a little cookie shop located on the bottom floor of the Ala Moana Shopping Center. Enjoy a delicious cookie for your afternoon snack.

#11 – Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial are top tourist destinations in Hawaii. Be sure to arrive early in the morning to purchase your tickets! It is very crowded, but worth the wait.

#12 – If you are a fan of  “Hawaii Five-o” be sure to stop by the King Kamehameha statue. He is one of Hawaii’s most famous heroes. He unified the Hawaiian Islands and helped maintain peace and traditional values.
