New Food – Mottled Pluot

Last week I discovered mottled pluots in the produce aisle at Jewel. Pluots are a plum/apricot hybrid. Usually about a quarter apricot and three/quarter plum.

Think a perfectly-flavored plum.

The inside is ruby red and juicy … and deliciously sweet.

I would give it a 9 out of a 10.
